KCHS Dinner - 2013

The Keweenaw County Historical Society will host it's annual End-Of-Season dinner on Sunday September 22, 2013, at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, US 41 in Copper Harbor, Michigan. The social hour (cash bar) and silent auction begin at 5:00 p.m. and the Beef/Chicken/Fish Buffet Dinner will begin at 6:16 p.m. The cost for dinner is $26.00 per person, including tip. A report on the KCHS 2013 activities and events wild be given. Several awards, including the Laurie W. Leskinen Memorial Award, will be presented. Our speaker for the evening will be Barry James, Administrator at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum, Negaunee, and also with Fort Wilkins State Park, Copper Harbor. Barry is the Curator of education, collections, exhibits and interpretive programming for the museum and the park. His presentation is entitled "Lost Journals and Ledgers now found after 120 years from the Clark Mine."
