is available for weekly rentals.
This is a test web site designed only to be seen by KCHS Board members. It is based on the existing KCHS web site, uses the much of the same content as the existing site but has major technical and design changes and additional content. All of the KCHS Museums are closed for the 2013 season. We will post the 2014 schedule of activities in the spring.

Please, LOCAL CALLS ONLY (289 & 337), using the cottage phone. The phone also rings in the Lighthouse Museum. During the hours from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, volunteers may answer the phone in the Museum while they are on duty.
As members of the Keweenaw County Historical Society, Museums are free for you to visit.
Please dispose of your trash at the Eagle Harbor Transfer Station located ½ mile up the Eagle Harbor Road just outside of town on the right. Tell the person on duty that you are from the Lighthouse Cottage. If the gate is closed, trash can be walked in and thrown into the dumpster. Attended hours of operation are as follows:
Saturday 9:00AM to 12:00 Noon
Sunday 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Wednesday 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
If you have an unpaid balance for your rent, please use the envelope provided, enclose your check, and give the envelope to the volunteer on duty at the Lighthouse Museum.
When you leave, please return the key to the hook over the stove and leave the door unlocked.
